Carol “Sue” Pitzen, 78, of Temperance, MI, passed away, Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Born September 21, 1940, she was a 1958 graduate of the former Libbey High School. She was employed for many years at the former Ohio Bell Telephone Company, Brown Automotive Group and the Y.M.C.A. of Northwest Ohio. She was a member of the Eagles and GBU at Oakshade Grove. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her children and many great friends. She also enjoyed playing euchre, country music, the slots at the casino, computer games, watching movies and figure staking. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Krizen Shasteen.
Sue is survived by her loving children, Jim (Carrie) Pitzen and Laurie (Chris) Boehme; brother, Bob Shasteen and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or charity of the donor’s choice. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
